As regards health monitoring relating to the spread of the new Coronavirus on the national territory, there are 128,948 total cases in our country, currently 91,246 people are positive for the virus. 21,815 people were healed. There are 28,949 patients hospitalized with symptoms, 3,977 patients admitted to intensive care, while 58,320 are in home isolation. 15,887 died, however, this number can be confirmed only after the Istituto Superiore di Sanità has established the actual cause of the death. The head of civil protection Borrelli stressed that today the lowest number of deaths has occurred since 19 March and that there is still a decrease in patients admitted to intensive care today. Borrelli also reported that the transfer of patients from Lombardy to other regions is discontinued today, because the situation in hospitals in Lombardy does not require it. Another good news comes from Spallanzani which registers a greater number of patients discharged than those hospitalized.
